We are searching for contract therapists (LPC, LLPC, DMT, LMSW, LLMSW etc.) who identify as being grounded in a particular style/theory/approach to therapy: Play Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, Hakomi Method, Somatic Psychotherapy, CAADC, etc. Set up a consult and see if you’re we are a good fit for you as you explore private practice!
Certified Recreation Therapy Specialists
We are actively contracting Recreation Therapists (CTRS) for CMH wraparound SEDW Services, as well as outpatient physical rehabilitation services.
Alternative Therapeutic Programming
Our goal for 2024 will be to expand into contracting with alternative therapeutic interventions with grounded practitioners who share our vision, mindset and culture. Trauma informed Yoga Therapy, Sound Therapy etc.

1099 Taxes
GTN will guide through the process of effectively paying your income taxes through filing a 1099 form each year.
Setting your Rate.
One vulnerable aspect of providing private practice counseling is establishing your rate per session.
GTN will support you in identifying your rate based on your ideal income and professional experience.
GTN will support you in adjusting your rate throughout your active involvement in our Network.

One trick to building a private practice is to have a vision of your ideal client. Grounded Therapy Network encourages you to find the scope you feel most ‘grounded’ in. Who have you been most successful in supporting? What clients are you drawn to as a therapist?

Joining the Network.
We are building our network of varied mental health professionals who are intentional in their approach to therapy and are on the path to finding their niche ideal client. We will connect regularly to consult, network and engage in continuing education opportunities, staying up to date on best practices.
Liability Insurance.
It is important to have full coverage as you practice therapy. Each contract therapist will need to have professional liability insurance for their own LLC.
GTN will guide you through the process of obtaining necessary Liability Insurance.
